Three Things You Can Do
About the Author
Patti Prairie is CEO of Brighter Planet, a team of pragmatic environmentalists in Vermont helping people measure, reduce, and offset their carbon footprints, or their climate impact measured in tons of CO2e. Brighter Planet was conceptualized in a Middlebury College environmental economics class in 2005, and the company was founded in 2006. To date, Brighter Planet members have offset 88 million pounds of CO2-- that's like taking almost 3 million cars off the road for a day.
