About This Video
I've been working for the past year on an article about the controversies over sewage sludge (land application in particular) and what future alternatives might be. Through my research, I've found numerous technologies that are turning sludge from a waste product into a commodity (or, at very least, offering a self-sustaining way of safely getting rid of it). Since many of these methods turn sludge into energy, sludge could be a sustainable replacement for some of our fossil fuel needs.
