1. Very Interesting
I think it's excellent that kids are being taught that alternative energy sources such as solar power are both readily accessible and very useful. In my environmental sciences class last year, we made solar ovens which allowed us to toast bread using just the sun, a cardboard box, and some aluminum foil and plastic wrap. Very neat stuff!
