A genius without purpose is less than nothing
Mike was born and raised in Barnegat Light, New Jersey, where he spent a majority of his younger years sailing on a national level across the eastern seaboard, Italy, Canada, and Mexico. Now he is a member of the class of 2009 at Roger Williams with a major in Global Communications and a minor in photography. His passion for photography stemmed from his residence hall in boarding school, which was located directly above the dark room. While at the Kent School, located in Kent, CT, his love for video and photography was fostered. When he is not taking pictures or making movies, you can most likely find him in the mountains of Vermont. He has been riding for almost eight years now, and can single-handedly claim he is the only student in Bristol, RI with his own snow-park in his backyard. Upon graduation he plans to move to the west coast in search of a hybrid career catering to his passion of video, photography, and design. Wherever this final destination might be, it will definitely have to be within a close distance of a mountain. Mike's photos have been featured on the Sotheby's International Reality website, as well as other local prints and newsletters. Mike has taken a great deal of wisdom and work ethic after participating with the Planet Forward team, and plans to carry this collaborative dependent work ethic into the real world.
